1.3 This policy applies to:
– Employees, contractors, brand ambassadors, vendors, and third-party agencies managing digital engagement.
– Official company accounts, employee personal accounts (when discussing Net Onboard), and any external online interactions related to Net Onboard.
1.4 This policy aligns with:
– Malaysia’s Communications and Multimedia Act 1998

2.2 Personal Social Media Conduct (For Employees & Partners):
– Employees are free to express personal opinions but must not claim to represent Net Onboard unless authorized.
– Employees discussing company-related matters must include a disclaimer stating their opinions are personal.
2.3 Engagement with Customers & Public:
– Responses to customer inquiries on social media must be prompt, polite, and accurate.
– Employees must avoid engaging in arguments, negative debates, or political discussions on official platforms.
3. Prohibited Online Activities
3.1 Misinformation & False Claims:
– Employees and partners must not spread false, misleading, or unverified information about Net Onboard or competitors.
– Social media promotions must comply with ethical advertising standards.
3.2 Hate Speech & Discriminatory Content:
– Any form of racism, hate speech, harassment, or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
– Employees must report any abusive behavior directed at the company to the HR or social media teams.
3.3 Sharing Confidential or Unauthorized Information:
– Employees must not share internal company documents, trade secrets, or financial data on social media.
– Unauthorized disclosure of customer data or project details will result in disciplinary action.
4. Brand Protection & Online Reputation Management
4.1 Use of Net Onboard’s Brand & Logos:
– Employees, partners, and agencies must not modify, distort, or misuse the company logo.
– Brand guidelines must be followed when creating official digital content or marketing materials.
4.2 Crisis Management & Handling Negative Publicity:
– In case of negative comments or social media crises, only official spokespersons may respond.
– Employees must not engage in public disputes or respond emotionally to criticism.
5. Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Compliance
5.1 Protection of User & Company Data:
– Any personal data collected via digital platforms must comply with PDPA 2010 and GDPR (if applicable).
– Employees must use strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on company social
