1. Introduction
1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) establishes the rules, restrictions, and ethical guidelines that users must adhere to when using Net Onboard Sdn Bhd’s cloud computing, managed IT, cybersecurity, and digital services.
1.2 By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP, our Terms of Service (TOS), and applicable Malaysian laws.
2. Prohibited Activities
2.1 Illegal & Harmful Activities
Users must not:
a) Use the services for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.
b) Engage in hacking, phishing, identity theft, or cyberattacks.
c) Distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, or harmful software.
d) Store, process, or share child exploitation material, hate speech, or extremist content.
e) Violate intellectual property rights by sharing or hosting unauthorized copyrighted material.
f) Engage in illegal financial activities, including money laundering or pyramid schemes.
2.2 Security Violations
Users must not:
a) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to networks, accounts, or systems.
b) Conduct penetration testing, security scanning, or network probing without written permission from Net Onboard.
c) Engage in Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, traffic flooding, or spamming.
d) Circumvent or disable security features, firewalls, or encryption.
2.3 Resource Abuse
Users must not:
a) Overuse system resources in a way that affects other users’ access to services.
b) Operate cryptocurrency mining, botnets, or automated scripts without prior authorization.
c) Host fraudulent websites, misleading advertisements, or fake financial schemes.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Users must:
a) Ensure that their account credentials and sensitive information remain secure.
b) Use strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) where applicable.
c) Report security breaches, suspicious activity, or policy violations to Net Onboard immediately.
d) Comply with all software licensing agreements and intellectual property rights.
4. Enforcement & Consequences
4.1 Violations of this AUP may result in:
a) Warnings or notifications for minor infractions.
b) Temporary or permanent account suspension for repeated violations.
c) Immediate termination of services for severe violations, such as fraud or cybercrime.
d) Legal action if the violation involves criminal activities, intellectual property theft, or financial fraud.
4.2 Net Onboard reserves the right to monitor network traffic and user activities to ensure compliance with this AUP.
5. Reporting Violations
5.1 Users who suspect a violation of this policy should report it to:

a) A detailed description of the suspected violation.
b) Evidence or logs, if applicable.
c) The date, time, and location of the incident.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
6.1 This AUP is governed by Malaysian law.
6.2 Disputes related to this policy will be resolved through mediation before proceeding to arbitration or litigation.
7. Amendments & Updates
7.1 Net Onboard reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time.
